At Airdrie, we are visiting our son Wes, and his family. This is a good time, just to rest, as we have been very busy getting ready for this trip. We drove to the new Cabalas, and I finally bought myself a Tilly Hat. Then everyone went swimming as I crashed out on the couch with Two dogs and a Cat. Since the snow, at Sylvan Lake we have had rain and dropping temperatures, you almost need a parka. Alberta is forecasting 20mm of rain each day, during the weekend, sounds like BC coastal weather. ( Our son wanted to have pipes playing, but that did not come through) After a sunny ceremony, the wedding party took off for pictures. Everyone gathered back at the house for a barbecue and refreshments. Wedding photos are private! Another couple...

Jul 3, 2008 - 13 Airdrie AB

Today we left the mountains, so the day was net down hill, beginning with many long descents on the Trans Canada Highway from Banff to Canmore. I stopped at Canmore for a fruit smoothie and to visit a bike shop … I am still looking for a spare tire. As the day was heating up I noticed that my rear tire was soft. I stopped removed the tire and tube and examined the tire very carefully for any embedded sharp object.
