That's all for this trip - one lap of America. After a stop in Medicine Hat to visit with our house-sitters Shirley and Steve we arrived back home. Now there are about three months to plan what comes next. At this time a trip in April to pick up the motorhome and the year-end cruise are all that is planned. Thanks for joining in our trip.

Jul 14, 2009 - Cautiously optimistic

This was a much less stressful day as we sped along the straight & fairly flat roads of Alberta with no change in truck performance. The truck is quite happy to be rid of steep grades and frost heaves, although the extra load of mud isn’t very pleasant to look at or brush against! The rolling hills are covered with trees and interspersed with bright yellow fields. May 14, 2007 - Kamloops to Calgary

We were again up before 6:00am and ready for the bus at 6:30 which took us to the train. We were soon settled in our familiar seats and ready for day two of our journey. It was another glorious day with sunshine virtually the whole way. We watched the scenery as it changed from the dry Kamloops vegetation to the more lush, treed area round Shuswap Lake. Hi everyone, to bring you up to date on our travels.Please bear with us as we are new to this and it may seem a little disjointed at first, but we will work at it.I did not get any photos uploaded until we got to Montreal so that entry has several photos While in Calgary for the month of July we picked our granddaughter, Kaitlyn, up on JULY 4th she spent 6 days with us.
