Jun 30, 2013 - Wedding Bells

Well we passed the test and made it to the joyous occasion. All went off without a hitch, it was a pretty good show all in all. Had a pre-departure supper/birthday party for Randi's dad yesterday along with some relatives and long time friends. It was a good time as well with many old stories and the usual afternoon of laughs. But as we all knew this was truly the end of this part of our journey as we are now pretty much all set to go and point for home. Motorhome seems a bit smaller now as we are now 5 bodies vice 2. Time to get some sleep...

Away we go 2013

Jun 18, 2013 - Circling

Just a short hop back to Chatham for quick visit with father in law and a belated fathers day supper. Weather is still unseasonably cool with the heavy Betty Boop blanket reappearing for more use, c'mon 9C in the third week of June in S Ont, unheard of. Forecast looks like no change for a while yet. Laundry all caught up so will be a short one here till we move back to hometown 1 for another short and final visit. Man this hockey series is going to be a long one I think.

Made the tactical decision to leave some extra spirits we have accumulated this trip on this side of the border so don't have to...

Jun 30, 2007 - Chatham, Ontario (Canada)

June 30 - July 2, 2007 When we told people that we were going to Chatham, most people would reply with "where" or "what are you going there for", most tourists wouldnt go to visit Chatham as it is about 3 hours inland from Tornto and not much of a tourist place, but we were there to visit my old football buddy Danny Horban and his wife Brenda and 2 kids (Sophie 3, and Nicholas 1). Thanks to Stacey she drove us 2 hours to be able to visit Horbs so the first night Stacey, Bec and I stayed there. The original plan was to stay for the night and...
