Oct 28, 2018 - Just Before Halloween

As we pulled out of our campground, we were looking at crossing Toronto just after the morning rush hour. We debated a couple of different routes but in the end, what the hay... we used to live here, we will manage the traffic. One note, our GPS lady was struggling a bit. North of the city of Toronto, the roads are identified as regional roads in the GPS and shortened to RR … so when the lady inside the GPS tries to tell us our route, she sounded like a pirate... Jun 24, 2017 - Trip to Pelee Point

Today we decided to go with Paul and Susan down to Pelee Point which is the furthest south point in Canada. We wanted to go there to see it and also to get a free National Park pass for Canada. They are celebrating the 150th anniversary of their National Parks this year and entry is free with this pass. Then we went to Paul and Susan's who drove us around Windsor with its lovely parks along the river. We went to the Caesar's Casino for dinner and some gambling. It was a wonderful buffet which we managed to fit into our Weight Watchers...

We left Lexington about 9:00am. The trip to MacGregor, Ontario is about 350 miles. The trip was without incident and we made good time to the Canadian border. Then we waited in line for about 30-45 minutes. Finally through the border (didn't get searched), we got a little turned around at one point, but ended up arriving at the campground about 4:15pm. The campground is very nice. Wildwood is a golf and RV resort. There is a large campground, some park models and an 18 hole golf course. All of the spaces are pull through. There is a...
