Aug 17, 2011 - Tim Horton's overnight
Left Ottawa at 5:30, stopped at Kemptville for supper (wings, hot and cajun style). Left about 7:00, decided to see what it would be like to drive into the night. Beautiful sunset, reflected on lakes and rivers. Farms, old churches, little towns, bigger places like Smiths Falls and Perth. Just missed a fawn when he popped out of the ditch. That isn’t to say that some days we won’t drive 300 km’s or maybe even 400 km’s, but we want those kind of drives to be few and far between. And of course some days we won’t drive at all! In keeping with that, we left Ruth’s parents just after lunch. Knowing...Jump to full entry
