Aug 17, 2011 - Tim Horton's overnight

Left Ottawa at 5:30, stopped at Kemptville for supper (wings, hot and cajun style). Left about 7:00, decided to see what it would be like to drive into the night. Beautiful sunset, reflected on lakes and rivers. Farms, old churches, little towns, bigger places like Smiths Falls and Perth. Just missed a fawn when he popped out of the ditch. As it got darker, couldn't read my directions, couldn't see stuff in my cab, focus down to just the road. Headlights, big trucks, curves and hills. Stopped at Kaladar for a leg stretch and ice cream. Jul 19, 2010 - Rained Out

We had planned to spend the night in Algonquin Provincial Park in Canada, but again had mixed up the miles and kilometers so got there around noon time. We stopped at the Visitor Center and found out that to stop anywhere in the park you had to pay a $16.00 day fee, and to camp overnight was $46.00. We have paid that much a couple of times before, but it is certainly on the high end when the only service you get is electric. Oct 18, 2008 - On the road again!

Saturday October 18…8:00pm We are finally back on the road! Given that we now have one complete year of full time motorhome living behind us, we’re going to try and implement some standards into our lifestyle. Most of all, we don’t want to drive more than 200 km’s (120 miles) per day. That isn’t to say that some days we won’t drive 300 km’s or maybe even 400 km’s, but we want those kind of drives to be few and far between. And of course some days we won’t drive at all!
