We drove from Marathon east to Pukaskwa National Park. This is Ontario’s largest National park and covers an area of 1,878 square km of wilderness. For serious hikers there is the 60km Costal Hiking Trail which winds along the coast of Lake Superior. Currently we were told the trail was being repaired and was not open. That did not bother us as there were a number of shorter trails which were suitable for “the old fogies”.
