Sep 8, 2012 - I've arrived

I left the middle of Michigan around 10 o'clock and made it to Detroit by about 2:00. Nothing much to report except for.a lot of confusion trying to find the Nexus lane as you come off The Ambassador Bridge. The whole bridge is under construction so it was a tight fit for the trailer to start with and in the end I just ended up at a regular booth. Oh, and the trip through Windsor was a bit hairy as well. They're building a whole freeway through the city to relieve the traffic but now all the dump trucks and detours just add to the normal...

Sep 25, 2010 - International Plowing Match

Our friends Jan and Bryce, from Burnt River met us at the farm and we convoyed together down the 400 and across the 401 to Saint Thomas, Ontario. Last year Glenna, Jason, and I went to the plowing match in Northern Ontario and had a very enjoyable time. This year we were joined by Jan and Bryce. We arrived at the match on Monday afternoon, set up camp, and did a quick tour to check the place out. We walked the grounds for a while every day, until our bodies would start to ache. Nov 13, 2007 - first step on the road to the first day of our live

we havent had to many big trips yet but we are in the prep stages for our maiden voyage ,,again ,, we moved from ont to alta way back in 1975 in an starcraft starmaster 8 pop up camper and that was the beginning of this adventure ..now we have an 35 ft golden falcon tour edition pulled by an 95 dodge dually cummins diesel automatic with not many lilometers on it,,just short of 130 ,000 k's which is about 78 thousand miles .. anyways there will be lots of pics soon and hope you return to this page..

hello from St. Thomas, Ontario! perspective. so much of life is based on the idea of perspective. achievement, expectations, success, failure are all subjective concepts that are flavored with the spice of perspective. when we first started this ride a few weeks ago we were thrilled to ride 60 km on our first day. we were excited and proud to have traveled so far under our own stream. fast-forward a few hundred miles on the road and things are a bit different. we had both hoped that a day of rest would be a panacea for Andrews' nasty cold,...
