What do we say? It was a roller coaster of emotions. What an incredible experience to be at a World Cup Football (soccer) Match! We, along with our good friends the Chuds, were dressed in full red, white and blue regalia, unfortunately, so were the Cezch Republic fans. None the less, we were loud and cheered whole-heartedly for the USA. We had great seats on the second level right behind the goal. 4 Weeks in Europe

Jul 25, 2005 - Amsterdam

We got into Amsterdam this morning at around 11am. The overnight train wasn't bad, but we had a 3 hour layover in Duisborg, Germany at 6am, which was a little rough, but we met the coolest family in the train station. The little boy was six and the little girl was nine. The mother is native Brazilian and they live in California. They were travelling for a month all over Europe and then spending a month in Brazil. Both kids are fluent in Portguese and their mother takes them to Brazil for at least six weeks every year. They were so well...
