Cam was a little further south in Dharamasal, and I was in the Ladhak mountain range in a town called Leh. I decided it was going to be fun to rent an Enfield 350 motorbike to drive to Nubra Valley in the north over the highest motorable pass in the world. I packed my bags and set out. It takes about 2 hours to climb the winding mountain road up to the pass to 5385m (about a 2000m ascent), where there is a cafeteria, a military base and snow. I then spent another 2 hours going down the other side on the worst road ever built! The landscape...
