Sep 18, 2010 - Cassinetta di Lugagnano to Certosa di Pavia

The knee is starting to hurt. It's not terrible, but it's a problem. The really hard part is, the cycling is beautiful and serene. As we roll into Certosa di Pavia, it starts to rain. Now a warm knee is one thing. A cold wet aching knee is quite another. But we aren't really in a town worth staying for more than a few hours, and we're staying overnight! Time to get an ice bag, some ibuprophen and a bit of rest. And be ready to cycle tomorrow!
