Sunday, July 19th. We are confirmed for a 5 PM tour!!!! It was about a 50 km/30 mile trip half on the highway the rest on narrow country roads. The most striking fact on our trip was absolutely no signage. I commented to Bill that without our Tom Tom and Richard's endearing voice we might not have found our destination. Suddenly a field opened up in front of us with miles of barbed wire fencing, wooden towers periodically placed along the fence which in turn surrounded hundreds of barrack buildings both in brick and wood. Jul 17, 2015 - Off to Auschtwitz

Friday, July 17th. I had to throw some things in the dryer which delayed our departure somewhat but by 10 we were on our way to yet an another unscheduled country – Poland. Our young friends had mentioned that they had travelled to Prague via Auschwitz and shared with us their thoughts on the museum and surroundings. They thought by far it was the largest and best memorial to the one and a half Jewish people who were murdered there by the Nazi Party. Jul 31, 2008 - Vertrek

Op 31 augustus vertrekken we richting Polen, Krakow. Om 16u staan we allemaal paraat op de luchthaven van Charleroi. We vliegen met WIZZ-air naar Katowice, waar we met de minibus richting Krakow gaan. Wie al zin heeft in een voorproefje van onze hostel? http://www.hostelyellow.com/
