Well, my cycle computer said I did 100.2 Kms today. While I’m prepared to allow that the calibration of my computer is slightly off, that means I still did at least 96 Kms – and there’s only one more day to go. A real short one. Maybe only 60 Kms! Instead of whipping straight out of town in the morning, Gaye, Agnes, Cor and I stopped off in the pretty little town square in Kazimierz Dolny as we didn’t see it coming in because the rain was absolutely bucketing down on us. Aug 29, 2008 - Bodzentyn to Kazimierz Dolny - 125 Kms

L-o-o-o-n-g day today, made even longer by the fact that it absolutely poured on us in the afternoon. The morning started out wonderfully: tail winds and a beautiful route with only occasional rollers that were no problem. In fact, 7 of us had a terrific pace line going into our lunch stop, blowing in there at anaverage of around 32 - 34 Kms per hour, led by Doug. Knowing today was going to be a long one, I pulled out my 'big gun' to help me out. I brought just two 'NRG energy shots' with me and I swigged back the second one today. I don't...
