This morning we checked into the Burgersdorp Lodge. It looks like a beautiful hotel. After we were settled in our room, we got ready to go to Burgersdorp the oldest town. It is very interesting because the translation of Burgersdorp means "Town of Citizens". The oldest town, Burgersdorp, was founded by about 300 Afrikaner families. This town was founded in 1846.
