Today is Monday so it must be Scarborough, Tobago. The city is much smaller than Port of Spain but quite bustling on a week day with a cruise ship visiting. We took an excursion from the ship to Buccoo Reef for snorkeling in a glass bottom boat so that I could snorkel and Viv see the coral and creatures of the deep. We had a lovely morning out there, with some of our new friends from the ship, looking at the coral and some of the wonderful fish that swim by. Sep 16, 2005 - Tobago...
We take the ferry across to Tobago, a reasonably relaxing journey of about 5 hours and the people watching is fab! There is a large, loud group of raucous gamblers, a crazy woman who seems to have a touch of ferry rage and a group of god fearing women who are trying to drown out the gamblers with their hymn singing! A transcultural version of our channel crossing but not a fried breakfast or union jack shirt in sight! Mar 1, 2004 - Tobago - From Rags to Riches to R&R
"Where in the world is Connie Martin?" I've been asked that question a lot lately in emails from friends, so I guess I'm overdue on sending one of my nice long witty and informative emails to everyone!
