Sep 16, 2019 - Nice CA – Aurora RV Park

Spent a couple of nights in Nice CA where we found a casino that had good food and a generous loyalty program. Both of us ended up winning enough money to pay for our dinner and walked away with some extra. Actually, Roger won twice as much as I did. Wouldn’t mind going back there some day to eat and gamble. Nice, CA. 42 deg. cloudy, no wind. Forecast = Partly cloudy. High of 72F. Winds from the WNW at 5 to 15 mph. Once back on I-5, we continued heading in a northerly direction, through Stockton, Sacramento and up to exit 578 at Williams where we turned West on Rt 20. Now, I'd like to make a comment about a comment I received yesterday from Paul and...

Sep 11, 2011 - Klamath, CA to Nice, CA

We had a nice drive today and again saw elk and many beautiful redwood trees. There are definitely a wonder of the world. We saw wild turkey along the road. We found a beautiful RV spot on Clear Lake that backed up to the lake. We sat out and enjoyed the afternoon then the guys cooked fried halibut while the ladies prepared the rest of the meal. Again my cooking stone came in handy, more great bread. There was a full moon and we all enjoyed the evening....
