After lunch we drove north and a little east on state and county highways to Chadron State Park which is not far from the S. Dakota border. We took a slight detour to see Carhenge. A man created a replica of Stonehenge in England using cars. It’s hilarious. Jerry even left a $2 donation; he was so appreciative of the outdoor sculpture. It is peaceful and quiet at the state park and I am enjoying the trees and the grass. There is no tv, no cell service and no internet here. I think I can imagine, if only for a fleeting moment, what it was...
