After leaving Forest City, IA our trip to New York was uneventful even though we had threats of thunderstorms every day. Saturday, we stopped at a Flying J Truck stop about 4:00 pm to spend the night as the RV Park we wanted was booked. Aug 9, 2008 - Byron, NY

Camping at http://www.southwoodsrvresort.com/ for 6 days cause it's cheap! It's also GREAT RV park and we were very happy to discover that! The only bad thing happening is the weather. It's been raining on us for 7 days in a row and we're starting to get cabin fever I think. The rain has followed us from NH to NY. sigh. Nothing we can do about THAT though! We DID have a "oh cool" moment though. The rain showed us what mother nature is capable of and we sw our very first DOUBLE rainbow. Very cool!
