For this part of my job, I travel the river corridor, stopping at accesses to pick up garbage, stock the brochure boxes, and record interesting things seen during the day. First, I took a couple of canoe rovers up to Callicoon and saw them off. Then I went north around Hancock to the Buckingham access and back down the river valley. May 30, 2018 - kayaking on the Upper Delaware!

On my first day off, I went to New Jersey and visited with my Aunt Ina and we had a good afternoon and evening! On this day, I decided to launch my kayak in the river at Callicoon and go down to Damascus, a distance of only 5 miles. I did scrape a few rocks, but no harm was done. It was a beautiful day with perfect temperatures! Vince picked me up at Damascus and drove me up to where I left my kayak tied to a post at Callicoon.
