Minhee and myself took advantage of the 15 inches of snow and went snow shoeing at Whetstone Gulf State Park. It is a 3 mile long canyon created by Whetstone creek flowing through the Tug Hill Plateau. We hiked to the top of the gorge and along the rim. Minhee was hiking about 10 yards behind me. I walked underneath some overhead pine branches with snow, so as a joke, I hit the branches with my walking pole so the snow would fall in front of Minhee.
