Today’s tour, by Larry. We spent today driving around Eastgate, which is where I grew up. It all looks so different since the trees are now 55+ years bigger and taller. I was surprised at how many names I could recall of my neighborhood friends as we drove by their former homes. We went past both my junior high school and elementary school and I was surprised that both had been leveled and rebuilt much larger. Jul 26, 2007 - North to WA - Issaquah, Lake Samamish

Well, we're back in Washington. This time we're near where Larry grew up in Eastgate. Our resort is like the one in Ocean City - in a VERY dense forest, so we're without our satellite TV again. We visited Larry's old neighborhood. It was easy for him to find places since he used to deliver newspapers; but a lot of the area had changed, and GROWN.
